More Vagueness

Glass.

One day, all of a sudden,
Spiderwebbed.

Cracked--
the way the heart is
when it realizes it must beat for itself now.

Intact.

Still Intact.

So fill it with wine again,
With water, with juice.
And drink.

By all means, drink.

But--

Pressure of lips,
lighter now.
Not like before.

Careful.
Very careful now.

As it should be.

Question

If the soul is the human being's core of emotions and all thoughts and all those other things that can lead people astray, without it, with just the spirit and body, would a human being cease to be imperfect?
